Building Awareness, Nurturing Resilience: Drug Abuse Sensitization in Lafia Schools
The aptly named Resilience Initiative is the brainchild of Elohim Development Foundation, a beacon of hope led by dedicated advocates in North Central Nigeria. Inspired by the strength of vulnerable communities, "Resilience" reflects our mission to empower, while "Initiative" symbolizes the canvas of change we paint daily through impactful programs.
We’ve championed numerous vital events, including school outreaches, peace dialogues, trauma healing clinics, and youth empowerment workshops across Lafia and beyond.

Recently, our Lafia team conducted sensitization sessions at:
- Universal Nursery and Primary School, Bukan Sidi, Lafia
- LGEA Primary School, Tudun Kauri, Lafia
- Ta’al Model School, Lafia
Through interactive talks and storytelling, we equipped pupils with tools to combat drug abuse, fostering mental strength and healthy choices. This effort echoes our commitment to raising resilient youth.,
