On the 8th of March every year, the world comes together to celebrate International Women’s Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality. In 2024, the theme for this significant day was “Count Her in: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment.” As part of the commemoration, the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare organized a Round Table Discussion, bringing together key stakeholders and organizations committed to advancing the rights and opportunities of women.
Among the participants was the Elohim Development Foundation, a champion for women’s empowerment and social justice. With a mission to create sustainable change and uplift marginalized communities, the foundation seized the opportunity to contribute to the dialogue surrounding gender equality and economic empowerment.
